I just got this email from Sonic Boom Records which confirms Siberian as a Sasquatch band.
"There are a ton of upcoming Sonic Boom Recording's artist shows in the Northwest. Siberian are playing with Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground in Portland and Vancouver BC (2/16 & 2/17) and are following that up with a bunch of all-ages shows, a national tour in May (dates coming soon) and a spot at the Sasquatch Festival. Pseudosix are opening for Helio Sequence in Portland and Seattle! Look for U.S.E at the Paramount opening for the Presidents on March 15th! Come out and support your local music."

Thanks for the info on Siberian. I had a feeling that they would be a Sasquatch! band. Any links? I checked their myspace and official, as well as sonic boom recordings, but it's not on there yet.
Radiohead are teasing us. Just anounced tour dates bring them from Florida across to Dallas on May 18.
They've just got to kill less than a week and head north a bit to get that third headline spot.
Looks more likely than it did yesterday:

nice screw up by pollstar.com..

Was 2006 that good that it needs to be repeated?
I think Radiohead making a appearance sounds very likely now. They made Sasquatch a 3 day event 2 years ago to accommodate Nine Inch Nails so maybe they are making a 3 day event again this year to accommodate Radiohead! 2 weeks and we will know all the dirty details!
oh jesus, i have to stop listening to rumors like that. i could have a heart attack if radiohead played in addition to this already favorable starting list of artists...
I've seen from multiple blogs/boards that earlier today Pollstar briefly posted several acts playing the Gorge in Quincy. Names I saw mentioned included The Flaming Lips, Death Cab For Cutie, The Shins, Sufjan Stevens, Band of Horses, The Cops, and Iron and Wine. Everything has been removed except for The Cops. Take it for what it's worth.
Pollstar mistakenly put up all the 2006 acts (ie. Flaming Lips, Death Cab, Sufjan) earlier today with the 2008 dates. That's what I was referring to.
More rumours here in Vancouver that the show here will be July 28 at T-Bird Stadium. Don't know if Radiohead would come all the way to the Gorge if they were going to do Vancouver in July. Hard to call.
Please not the Flaming Lips (again). They seem to only exist these days to play the same festival every 2 years. It would be nice to get some big name rap or dance artists also. Fey indie pop like Death Cab For Cutie gets old over three days. You can only take so much music for bed-wetters. Radiohead on Monday seems more plausible now. This would give them 7 days to play 4 California dates and then get to Quincy. I've think chances are they will head west after Dallas on May 18 especially since rumours have them doing both Coachella east and Lollapooloza in Chicago in August.
I dont know why, but I have this crazy feeling that Sean Hayes will be joining us at Sasquatch! this year. Dont ask me why I think that, because it just hit me.
