Lineup To Be Unveiled In Less Than Two Weeks!

More information about the Sasquatch Launch Party is available on the official Sasquatch Site. Todd Barry will host the event. He is funny, and not in the "ironic what the hell is this guy talking about," way, more like, "actual laugh out loud funny." Portland post-punk rockers, the Thermals will also be on the bill. Seattle hip-hop group Mad Rad will open. They are also funny. Shoot, the formerly confirmed Das Racist are funny too. This sounds like a comedic evening (don't LOL at the lineup, however). Tough draw being the same night as the Superbowl.

The show is free, but entrance is based on how early you arrive. If you want to buy a phone, or insurance, or some chips, it might help your cause. The Launch Party is sponsored.

I posted that late last night. I meant to fact check that exact point. I know there are more than two people in the group. Me calling them a duo was like calling Kid N' Play a duo. Not 100% accurate, so I changed the wording.

That was from last year...

Can we add "City and Colour" to the rumor list? They had to cancel last year due to health issues, and are playing coachella.... make sense right? Plus it would pat the Canada band stats!

You do good work, long time reader-first time posting

Joel

Sadly, Fleet Foxes is out. They are touring in Europe from the 25th-31st.

We can all keep our testicles intact.

Hey Joel, if my sometimes sharp memory serves me correctly, I don't recall cancellations leading to that act being on the following year's lineups for festivals. I'm sure it happens, I just recall it not happening a lot more. That doesn't mean City & Colour won't be there, just not strong enough of a "rumor" at this point. Thanks for the suggestion.
