  1. Cool, I'm glad you checked it out. Hopefully, others will too. It will take awhile to get some momentum, but we'll get there!

  2. oh i really hope its true that the national are playing. it makes sense i guess.

  3. Let's hope Death Cab don't play - dull as dishwater live. I think there's an outside chance we get Radiohead. After all, Sasquatch is a carbon neutral event

  4. Destroyer (and the great Devon Williams) are now a possibility, with the look of this gap in the tour schedule.

    05-19 Los Angeles, CA - Troubadour $
    05-20 San Diego, CA - Casbah $
    05-21 San Francisco, CA - Independent $
    05-23 Portland, OR - Aladdin Theater $
05-31 Vancouver, British Columbia - The Commodore $

  6. Paul do you know JL (if you do, then you know who he is, obviously)? Pretty sure I've heard you before. I'm from Lethbridge too, haven't seen the guy in forever.

CANNOT WAIT FOR THE 'SQUATCH THIS YEAR!!!
It's going to be great, regardless. It's an atmosphere that just can't be beat. Hopefully Jack Johnson doesn't show up. Thanks for creating this site, dude - whoever you are :)

  7. ive seen death cab live a few times, all at small venues and they are talented. they dont pump up the crowd like most bands that play at festivals but they arent dishwater.
ive atteneded coachella the last few years but this years is just unbelievably shitty, i cant wait for the sasquatch set to be announced.
    :)

  8. Usually the announcement is made in mid/late February. My guess sometime between the 18th and the 22nd.

  13. Well holly apparently you didn't see deathcab at sasquatch in '06. It was awesome!

  14. Blurg! The Breeders have been confirmed by Pitchfork. Looks like this year will be a blast from the past :(

  17. Steve Malkmus is playing May 28 in Vancouver, so Maybe? at Sasquatch? Dates line up...

  18. The Cops must just have their date wrong, but I would say it is confirmed.

Hey Paul, thanks for reminding me about Stephen Malkmus. I saw that a few days ago and forgot to put him on my rumor list.

  19. Paul, did some research on Stephen Malkmus, the Matador Records website says May 28th, but it also says it's in Vancouver, CA, not BC. On his site it is May 3rd, as does Pollstar. So I think the May 28th might be a typo. What do you think?

    ReplyDelete
  20. You might be right... though I am still holding out hope...

  21. Go ahead and move 65 Days of Static to confirmed, if you can consider Pollstar confirmation

  22. david bazan was confirmed by pitchfork

    ReplyDelete
  23. Pollstar is usually pretty accurate, but sometimes things change. It is known that 65 Days of Static are on tour with the Cure, so it is most likely true that they will be at Sasquatch! just not totally confirmed. Is there a link for David Bazan confirmed by pitchfork? Again, a reliable source, but not confirmed on his official or myspace site.
