Their official website nor their myspace confirm them as playing Sasquatch!, but it is feasible as they will be in Arizona with the Dave Matthews Band on May 6th. However, I doubt Dave Matthews will be at Sasquatch! as they always play three nights at the Gorge at the end of the summer.
If you can confirm or deny that the Avett Brothers are playing Sasquatch! let me know!
the mere thought of DMB playing sasquatch makes me sick. not only would it invite a completely different group of assholes to the festival, but it would be a waste of a headlining spot that he would certainly be given. fuck that.

ReplyDeleteAccording to Pollstar, the Avett Brothers are playing in Portland May 23 and 24, which would seem to support any rumors that there would be. They are touring with Dave Matthews until May 6, so they'd be done with that tour, which would, thankfully, mean that they wouldn't be a package deal with DMB
ReplyDeleteWhy are you people so closed off to DMB? Not to mention so angry. DMB is made up of incredible and passionate musicians; they play great music. I'm not into every music scene out there but, I don't go around bashing them simply because I can't identify with "the scene". Appreciate music or don't, it's your choice but, why the hatred?
