Let alone at a big festival.

I saw them a few months after in Boston and they were clearly better than sasquatch.

Lead singer definitely can hit the high notes now.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1745625178751452987.post-89684458482068384412010-04-14T18:57:39.957-07:002010-04-14T18:57:39.957-07:00Thanks. They don't seem like a main stage act, but they can really vault their popularity taking advantage of their slot. I might check them out again if I saw a horn section. Then again, I'm a sucker for live horns.

It sure is nice eliminating potential conflicts by catching Sasquatch acts locally, one bonus living in Portland/Vancouver rather than Seattle.

Here's the real Passion Pit setlist. More Horns (or live horns) for Mayer Hawthorne would have been the addition they needed.

Lead singers voice was on cue for the night. He gets into falsetto and then never leaves. Much better than Sasquatch 09.

Less Bros and more hipsters in Vancouver though (i would consider myself neither)bradb_radnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1745625178751452987.post-40575993689396348242010-04-13T23:38:19.672-07:002010-04-13T23:38:19.672-07:00Well it's good to hear Passion Pit is getting ...Well it's good to hear Passion Pit is getting better reviews. I had to sell my tickets to Sasquatch the day before and I was really excited to see them, but have since learned of the overwhelming bad reviews. I saw them at Monolith at Redrocks back in September, and they were great... The bro-love, was outweighed by the performance thankfully, so I'm excited to get a second chance to see them this year.

As for Mayer Hawthorne, it's great to hear about their performance. I think I may have been one of a small handful that cried out in glee when he came out on the line-up.DonTorohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15015611522167942179noreply@blogger.com
