The second biggest entertainment related malfunction of all-time? I fully intended to spend a couple hours writing paragraphs filled with Janet Jackson song titles and jokes until I realized two points. First, I'm the only Janet Jackson fan who reads this blog, so most wouldn't get it. Second, even though I do this "All For You," "What Have You Done For Me Lately?" See, I told you you wouldn't get it. Now I'm wondering if viewers even remember the Janet Jackson Wardrobe Malfunction? Don't google it at work.
So what happened? Shortly after noon last Saturday, a loyal Sasquatch Blog reader referring to him/herself as "anonymous" posted a link to the Sasquatch main(e) site's schedule page, which incorrectly showed names of bands on the Sasquatch lineup. Apparently, if you changed the numbers at the end of the link, it would reveal more bands. Later that afternoon, the news spread to the rest of the internet, and other interneters claim to have seen the following bands:
The Shins / Girl Talk / Beirut / St Vincent / Blitzen Trapper / Tune-Yards / Lana Del Rey / Apparat / Starfucker / Wolfgang Gartner / Active Child / Said the Whale / Black Whales / Araabmuzik / Star Slinger / Jamey Johnson / Grynch / Com Truise / Dyme Def / SPAC3MAN / Purity Ring / THEESatisfaction / Tycho / Fatal Lucciano / Fly Moon Royalty / Sol / Nobody Beats The Drum / Todd Barry / Rob Delaney / Pete Holmes
Is the list real, you bet. Is it 100% accurate, well, that's a different story. First, we are relying on random internet people to have accurately transcribed what they saw. This means, "Fly Moon Royalty," might actually be "Sky Poon Realty." That's probably a bad example, but you get the point. Second, acts cancel festivals all the time, so there is no guarantee a name or two who were on the lineup last week will still be there Thursday night. However, the collection of lesser known hip-hop acts and comedians, mixed with upper tier acts I am confident will be there (six of the biggest names were on my guess 50 already) makes this list way too credible to be fake. Plus, you know, it came from the official website.
This malfunction has also confirmed a fifth stage. Travis Hay recently wrote an article about it. Read it here.
Regarding my guess 50, I last updated it Thursday, January 26th. I won't update it again, since anyone can make a guess 50 now, and be 80% correct.
And speaking of the Jacksons, anyone anticipating a Michael Jackson, "Beat It," type showdown between SPAC3MAN (the hip-hop artist) and Spaceman (the lead singer of Spiritualized)?
I sure hope this is true. Girl talk, said the whale, beirut, araabmusik, oh my goodness this would be heaven.
ReplyDeletethat anon at January 28, 2012 12:58 PM, on the 'guess 50' thread, may have made one of the biggest leak discoveries for sasquatch, ever. congratulations, masked warrior.
ReplyDeleteWow I wonder. This is amazing. I mean I could just wait a few more days, but the possibility of knowing this now is amazing!
ReplyDeleteBEIRUT. SWAG.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how Said The Whale made the Sasquatch lineup. Let me amend that comment: I understand WHY they made Sasquatch's lineup, but I have no idea how they've gotten to this point. Hard work, no doubt; they play everywhere and they play often, but I'm from Vancouver, have seen them live many times, and they are an extremely generic and bland indie band. I just don't get how they're this big.
ReplyDeleteApparently any band name with 'whale' in it is great!
ReplyDeleteI will have to disagree with 9:08 Anonymous. I too am a fellow Vancouver native and I think Said The Whale have really transformed into a great indie band. Some of their earlier stuff is definitely bland, for sure, but they've really moved past that. Check out "Heavy Ceiling" if you're unconvinced. I project their new album will be much better, more polished, and will produce a fantastic, new edge to their performance when we see them.
ReplyDeleteI'm also very stoked for Beirut, The Shins, Girl Talk, and Blitzen Trapper. Off to a good start.
It's Apparat and Wolfgang Gartner.
ReplyDeleteSpelling. How does it work?
@Griffs...Agree! I just heard it for the first time and I feel like non stop movement is necessary! Have you heard of Black Mountain? Alittle more stoner rock, but they're from Vancouver and played '11
ReplyDeleteIt's also Rob Delaney, not "Rob Deleany."
ReplyDeleteAny word on the house dj? Dj Anjali & the Incredible Kid were great last year!
ReplyDeletemakes me worry that the first anonymous guess was right after all.. he guessed everything right, including the small groups
ReplyDeleteTycho. FUCK yes
ReplyDeleteThe guy who runs this blog guessed 20+ right in 2011, but I didn't check how late that was posted. I really want Black Mountain to play again! They were amazing
ReplyDeleteThat anon post on the 23rd is missing a bunch of bands and just consists of Seattle based rappers and some of the top picks for the festival this year. I say it's false. And so does anyone with a brain.
ReplyDeletelooks like we can add mogwai to the list,
ReplyDelete05/29 – Vancouver, BC @ Commodore Ballroom
05/30 – Portland, OR @ Wonderball Room
06/01 – San Francisco, CA @ Regency Ballroom
Tuneyards was on one of those leaks as well.
ReplyDeleteHopefully there is still time for them to uninvite Lana Del Rey. I saw her set on Saturday Night Live and for the first 3 minutes or so I thought it was a joke. Awful.
ReplyDeleteSpiritualized more or less confirmed with their new tour dates.
ReplyDeleteTennis pro? Of montreal?
ReplyDeleteSt. Vincent can easily be compared to Lana Del Ray...But she's way better! I agree to leave LAna Del Ray out!
ReplyDeleteYou guys are a bunch of meatballs lana on SNL was like her 3rd performance EVER. Not to mention one of the most acoustically sound rooms on the planet, no one said a word when foster the people made complete fools of themselves earlier in the season, or even when Arcade Fires sound seemed to be lacking while regine danced around looking like a clown...
ReplyDeleteLana Del Boring is a fucking hack. She must have great publicists.
ReplyDeleteAlso, comparing her to St. Vincent is a fucking criminal.
I believe you meant Yawwwna Del Ray.
ReplyDeleteYeah I don't think they're comparable but regardless people do...sorry for my confusion. either way it will be a grand time! lol
ReplyDeleteAlex Young of COS posted this in regards to why they haven't updated with the leaked bands:
ReplyDeleteRe: Sasquatch! -- We reached out to the festival's representation, and they suggested that not all the artists appearing on 'leak' would appear on the final lineup, which is why we're holding off.
Does anyone think that there are going to be anymore headliners? Or are all the bands they announced have all the headliners and subheadliners in it? I hope they have not announced all headliners yet. The Shins, Beirut, and Girl Talk for friday....I think there is one more though. Unless Bon Iver is on the list. what does everyone think? any good ideas for sub headliners that would not be on the list also?
ReplyDeleteTHAT WAS ME. IM THE ANON GUY!
ReplyDeletedear god if girl talk shins beirut and bon iver are the four headliners this will be the worst festival in the history of festivals....coachella has radiohead, snoop, black keys. all those bands you named aren't even close to being able to headline coachella, it makes me sad that they would be considered headliners for sasquatch. i guess that says something about sasquatch...but my guess is all that leaked stuff was the undercard and we're going to get the big names thursday.
ReplyDeletelast year. death cab, flaming lips, modest mouse, foo fighters, bright eyes, wilco, decemberists....basically all those bands are better (or at least bigger) than any that have been leaked so far. If ANY of those leaked bands headlined I'd be pretty disappointed...fingers crossed for pearl jam, strokes, mgmt, mumford, daft punk, anyone besides the crap listed.
ReplyDeleteYeah I agree. 2011 Headliners were very good compared to this. I am definitely disappointed with most of the leaked artists considering 2011 & 2010 were that much better. Fingers crossed with ya man!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah & I am not very big on "Thirsty Thursdays", but I think the lineup release is a perfect celebration moment! Drink up people & keep yo fingers crossed for an amazing Sassy year!
ReplyDeleteBASSNECTAR!!
ReplyDeletelol mgmt.
ReplyDeleteMore like MEHGMT amirite?
ReplyDeleteI just e-mailed Biggie's booking rep and he has confirmed he will be there.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Feist is a solid bet at this point ...
ReplyDeletehttp://consequenceofsound.net/2012/01/feist-announces-2012-spring-tour/
Some other blogs have rumors circulating about a Sigur Ros / Chemical Brothers bill for one night. Whilst I recognize how vastly unlikely this is, it's still a pretty damn cool thought.
Anon 1/30 @ 9:43
ReplyDeleteMaybe the 4th is Lana Del Ray.
I'm doubting those are the headliners. Just part of the leak.
ReplyDeleteOkay...I understand that many people have said they aren't great in concert....but I gotta say I am effing stoked to see the Shins
ReplyDeleteShins are so boring live. Very boring headliner
ReplyDeleteI don't buy Bon Iver and the Shines BOTH headlining. Maybe the Shins -> Bon Iver.
ReplyDeleteWhile I'm no longer going to argue the Shins won't headline, it would be the biggest disappointment if they did. 80% of the crowd won't know who they are. Based on ticket sales, Girl Talk is as big of a draw in the NW as the Shins, and 80% of the crowd will know Girl Talk.
ReplyDeletePlus, Girl Talk shows are fun.
Those aren't the headliners, dummy.
ReplyDeleteHurrrr.
major lazer? :(
ReplyDeleteThe 2011 headliners were the worst of the fest yet.
ReplyDeleteA Sasquatch vet made a valid point to me earlier. He said how many headliners do you actually see? It's really about the mid-card bands. I couldn't agree more
ReplyDeleteA Sasquatch vet made a valid point to me earlier. He said how many headliners do you actually see? It's really about the mid-card bands. I couldn't agree more
ReplyDelete@Anonymous 5:47 Yeah they were kind of blahh...but I thought there were alot of other bands that were good to see. I'm really nervous for 2012
ReplyDeleteWhy would you worry when we don't even know much of the lineup and most of the leak was the local hip hop stage. If they really got Shabazz Palaces, Spiritualized and have cross over with Coachella, it'll be fine. Bands like Purity Ring and AraabMUZIK are amazing gets for the shack. Don't worry till it comes out. I've learned my lesson. I was worried in 2010, and we got Massive Attack, MMJ, Vampire Weekend, LCD...etc. Just don't get your hopes up for bands like Daft and Radiohead. Then if it magically happens, you'll enjoy it WAY more.
ReplyDeleteHowever, the Shins should NOT headline or be anywhere close because they are not the Shins anymore. Just Mercer and some lame excuse of a band. I will be pissed if they actually headline.
ReplyDeleteWell said!
ReplyDeleteAn anonymous poster grossly misinterprets a comment I made about the Shins, and I'm the dummy? Hahahaha, that's great. You wouldn't happen to own a mirror?
ReplyDeleteI was just making a statement, not directed towards you at all Know. Didn't even read your post till now.
ReplyDeleteGirl Talk is not fun..Girl Talk is a cheesy, terrible excuse for music. It sounds like he found all his Jock Jams CDs, put them on CDJs and mashed them up in an attempt to "bring the party". Pass.
ReplyDelete@anon 6:26, I was referring to the person who posted after my Shins comment who stated, "Those aren't the headliners dummy." It's tough telling you anons apart. You can always give yourself a name when you post, like Montana does.
ReplyDeletephantom planet reunion was started in nov. 2011, with dates announced a few days ago for cali. you think squatch is a possibility?
ReplyDeleteAlmost everyone is down on the shins...oh well can't be any worse in my opinion in ween that headlined a few years back...yes I know they have fans..I happen to like the shins and really think if Bon iver can headline so can shins..both acts have played paramount in Seattle as have many past headliners..with that said I am hoping that Bon iver and shins co-headline..that way a better chance for bjork to headline one of the other days..or some of the other big bands that have been rumoured in the various blogs..on a more positive only 2 days remain to its out any then listen to all the complaints up to show time...
ReplyDeleteAtlas Sound plz.
ReplyDeleteWould love to see Portugal the Man grab a spot on the main stage...They gained a huge following in the last year, and they are a northwest favorite
ReplyDeleteyeah, as a festival vet i couldnt agree more that headliners really dont matter. seeing bands all day long and late night, if there is a lame headliner, it is a great time to just chill and get pumped up for late night sets, especially now that there is re-entry. head back to the camp site and do some cheap drinking if you dont like a headline. im really not excited for the shins girl talk or bjork, but i wouldnt rule out going to sit up on the hill and hang out with friends during those times. im hoping girl talk plays an earlier evening set leading into AVICII. avicii playing the sasquatch stage at midnight on saturday would be nuts!!
ReplyDeleteAVICII would be pretty nuts. Saw him at paramount and had a pretty good time, though I don't know how much sasquatch would get into his set beyond a few of his mainstream hits.
ReplyDeleteBon Iver/ Deadmau5/ Pulp/ Drake/ The Shins/Jack White/ Beirut/ The Head and The Heart/ Kraftwerk/ Pretty Lights/ Refused/ M83/At The Drive In/Skrillex/ Fucked Up/Girl Talk/St. Vincent/Yeasayer/ Beirut/Major Lazer/ tUnE-yArDs/ Washed Out/ Spiritualized/ Jamey Johnson/Flying Lotus/ Minus The Bear/ Bombay Bicycle Club/ A$AP Rocky/ Two Door Cinema Club/ Apparat/Young The Giant/ White Denim/ Dj Anjali & The Incredible Kid/ Active Child/ Com Truise/City & Colour/ Wolfgang Gartner/Dyme Def/ Das Racist/ Said The Whale/ Black Whales/ Araabmuzik/ Villagers/ Star Slinger/ Grynch/ SPAC3MAN/ Purity Ring/ Sol/ Nobody BeatsThe Drum/ THEESatisfaction/ Tycho/ Fatal Lucciano/ Fly Moon Royalty/ Dragonette/ Todd Barry/ Rob Delaney/ Pete Holmes/ Bo Burnham
ReplyDeletePartial lineup
more to post later
confirmed?
ReplyDeleteAnyone have any informed opinions about YACHT making an appearance?
ReplyDeleteThey last played Sasquatch in 2010, they released a new album last year, and they are currently touring for said album.
Their listed tour dates only go through March but they've alluded to releasing more soon. Could it be that they are waiting for the line-up announcement to say more?
The play Portland and Seattle early February; I don't know enough about Santa to know what that means.
http://teamyacht.com/events/
@9:07, that's a lot of repeats from last year. I didn't go last year though, so I hope you're right. I'd be more than happy to see Major Lazer, Das Racist, Washed Out and Flying Lotus.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lie @ 9:07. I can post a bunch of likely bands and act confident too. And just because Mumford is playing some on the 28th doesn't rule them out. We won't know anything for sure until the official announcement
ReplyDeleteI can believe that one. It seems like most of the bands aren't conflicting.
ReplyDelete@9:07 I'd be so bummed seeing the exact same bands from last year. Also I could do without skrillex
ReplyDeleteMumford and Sons: Christian hippies playing dress-up.
ReplyDeleteOf all the people that would return, I think those ones are correct.
ReplyDeleteSkrillex headlining main stage
ReplyDeleteOn that leaked list, there are over 10 returns from 2010. Seems rather unlikely
ReplyDeleteI like how everyone is so ready to believe that this "website malfunction" is absolutely true. i feel the odds are higher they are fucking with us then they legitimately had that big of an accident. i think we should all expect the unexpected tomorrow night. and holy shit Bon Iver is not big enough to headline and theyre not the right type of band. I dont care how much publicity Kanye gave him
ReplyDeleteHa I bet they are fucking with us. I'm gullible in the sense that I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I missed Flying Lotus last year, but would really like to hear that set. And christian hippies! that's hilarious
ReplyDeleteRight, Sasquatch intentionally entered data (which I saw with my own eyes) into their website and leaked it on purpose in order to trick us.
ReplyDeleteSEEMS PRETTY LOGICAL.
And I agree with the statement that Bon Iver isn't big enough to headline. I mean obviously people like him, so a he'd be a great mid-card addition :) I wan't to see people of that status
ReplyDeleteIf Death Cab for Cutie can headline, so can Bon Iver.
ReplyDeleteIf Modest Mouse can headline, so can Bon Iver.
ReplyDeleteBon Iver is big enough to headline. They are subheadlining coachella and are grammy nominated this year. They also closed the bigfoot stage in 2009. The Shins are hopefully a different story.
ReplyDeleteIf Ben Harper & Relentless7 (LMAO) can headline, then so can Bon Iver.
ReplyDeleteIf you subheadline Coachella you can headline Sasquatch. Fact.
ReplyDeleteWell I wasn't there in 2009, but good point yo! :)
ReplyDelete@9:07. Wow so what you are saying is that Beirut is playing twice at sasquatch, can't wait. But I am confused why he is billed lower the second time.
ReplyDeleteI get it. Beirut DJ set!!!!!! fantastic.
you could try to at least put some effort into it, and if Kraftwerk were going to be there, the would probably headlining and not billed lower than The head and the Heart.
If that leak is true i will be selling my four day pass... but it's not so ill be booking my flight to Seattle on Friday Morning once they realease the actual line up... If that were the lineup, expect the festival to go back to a 2 day in 2013 because NO ONE WOULD SHOW FOR THAT PAPER THIN BILL. Suspect some of the leaked acts to be included, along with sufficient headliners and support to fill a four day festival on the rise.
ReplyDelete^ Holy shit, you're dense.
ReplyDeleteyou really think its logical that they unintentionally entered all that data into their website and unintentionally let the public see it? things like that dont happen. And Death cab has a way larger fanbase then bon iver has And seriously modest mouse is on a whole other level as far as fanbase especially fanbase in the northwest, not to mention theyre a band not just predominately one guy. And Bon Ivers huge catalog of 2 albums against Modests 6 albums and 6 EPs or Death Cabs 7 albums. Bon Iver has a smaller fanbase and isnt as good as either of them. dont compare. Also the Shins are more fit to headline then Bon Iver
ReplyDeletetl;dr
ReplyDeleteHas there been any big name exceptions to the radius clause?
ReplyDeleteConfirmed : I have contacted Fred Savage about any possible Sasquatch leaks. Unfortunately he didn't reveal any band names, but did go on a 20 minute rant about how it's beyond him that the Wonder Years has yet to be released on Blu-Ray.
ReplyDeleteI want Anthony Green to come more than anything!!!! He just came out with a new album and is touring with no dates in May. He is Seattle Feb. 15th, but that still does not mean he can come back in May!!!! CROSSED FINGERS!!!
ReplyDeletegirl talk is shitty.Whoopitty doo a guy and his mix tape.I promise you will be let down by set.
ReplyDeleteThe pack AD please Sassy.
ReplyDeletecomparing bon iver to modest mouse AND death cab? hilarity at the highest level. don't get me wrong, bon iver is amazing. but there really isn't a comparison.
ReplyDeleteum, Bon Iver played Sasquatch in 2009 and headlined the Wookie stage (which I guess is the Bigfoot now). That was after one album and one EP. It was incredible (I missed the Yeah Yeah Yeahs to see it, which I didn't regret). That was three years ago. Since then, their self titled album that was released this year debuted at #2 on the billboard charts, and they've been nominated for Grammys in multiple categories. They also played a show at Edgefield which sold out very quickly. Now they are the first subheadliner for one day at Coachella. I'd say they are definitely big enough to headline Sasquatch. However, if they were somehow playing the same day that, say, death cab or modest mouse were playing, they would probably be a subheadliner, but neither of those bands are going to play this year.
ReplyDeleteanyway, tl;dr, I love Bon Iver but I do hope that they get someone bigger to headline the day they play.
5:14 is my boy, but also i saw girl talk at outside lands in sf 2011 and it was a damn good time, i dont care if its other peoples music its fucking fun
ReplyDeleteSup folks? What did I miss?
ReplyDeleteI love festivals and I really dig the videos and reviews on your site about different festies bands and things of the such. nice post. keep it up. Thanks. IStillGotMyGuitar
ReplyDeleteEdward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros?
ReplyDeletewe got 99 comments and a lineup ain't one!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros! I would be happy...because of the music & the drugzzz ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat are the chances tho?
ReplyDeleteI don't see any reason why edward sharpe would be considered out...there are tons of bands that have a decent chance. I don't think i'd count mumford out yet, they like this area and they have a date for 28th in netherlands, but they could easily play the other days 25,26th most likely. They just announced dates to two different festivals in the past two days, seems like they are in the festival spirit..
ReplyDeleteBon Iver is without a doubt big enough to headline most festivals, if you disagree, you obviously have not been paying attention to the music industry lately. 4 Grammy nominations and the huge success of their last album is enough to convince me. Modest Mouse and Death Cab are completely different, but I'm not gonna lie, around the NW area it seems that Bon Iver has surpassed Death Cab and Modest Mouse when it comes to fans. All three bands are practically on the same level now. I honestly thought Death Cab was extremely boring at Sasquatch.
ReplyDeleteSorry but no. Bon Iver is not nearly as established as Modest Mouse and Death Cab.
ReplyDeleteVernon may end up further than either of those bands but he doesn't care their weight currently.
He is a subheadliner as best. If this lineup is looking like the guesses or the suggested leaks, we're all fucked. Coachella '13 here we come.
Can't be worse than the 2011 line-up.
ReplyDeleteFuck headliners.. So far there are plenty of bands I would love to see. Brig it on.
ReplyDeleteTool confirmed via facebook they are headling a major festival in the north.
ReplyDeletewhen will we actually see the sasquatch line up today??
ReplyDelete@Anon 1247 could not agree more.
ReplyDeleteI believe with Real Estate announcing a Seattle show in late April it takes them out of the running correct?
ReplyDeleteUsually. But Real Estate is such a nice band. Maybe Santa Clause will go easy on them.
ReplyDeleteThere's hope for Real Estate. Caribou played in Seattle the DAY BEFORE Sasquatch began and they still played.
ReplyDeleteAlso, where did Tool confirm they were playing a North American festival?
Screen shot please.
youre high as fuck if you think Bon Iver is on the same level as modest or death cab
ReplyDeleteagreed ^
ReplyDeleteHoly shit, who cares? Modest Mouse and Death Cab are both garbage. Moving on.
ReplyDeleteYou're high as fuck if you don't think Bon Iver could headline a festival like Sasquatch.
ReplyDeleteBEN HARPER AND THE RELENTLESS 7 ROFLMAO
the only edm that matters being at sasquatch is deadmau5 and pretty lights, particularly deadmau5, all other edm can f### off
ReplyDelete^ troll.
ReplyDelete3 times in 4 years? Right.
screw this guy ^
ReplyDeleteGive it to me MOUSE!!!!
deadmau5 live is so boring. seen both live, pretty lights so much more of a party than deadmua5. really be disappointed if mau5 is one of the late night sets.
ReplyDeletepretty lights was no doubt amazing live when i saw him at the gorge, but idk deadmau5 is just diferrent, you just gotta love deadmau5 i guess, which i do...
ReplyDeleteI can confirm that Bear in Heaven is not currently on the lineup. Although the band is hoping to get a late add. (via email) I am also hoping they a get added!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the End is dropping hints on their twitter about who might be on the lineup. So far...
ReplyDeleteBeck / The Shins / The Head and the Heart
what is the name of this twitter feed? ^
ReplyDeletebeck would be cool, adam zack's style for sure ha
ReplyDeletebeck and jack white would be awesome.
ReplyDeletesame with bo burnham and city and colour.
still holding out for a return of the flaming lips...
btw this is the first year im going to sasquatch, when does the line up usually get announced on the release day? will it be like 9pm or something?
^
ReplyDeleteYou'll know what bands are playing on what stages and what times long before the day of. They're posted online.
sorry, you must have misread.
ReplyDeleteI know theyre releasing the lineup tonight at the launch party. When can i expect it to officially hit the internet? Even in the sense of someone at the launch party posting it online once they release.
Already have my tickets. stoked.
twitter feed from people will probably start around 8 when they will start announcing parts of the line up at the launch party.. it will all be on the sasquatch web site by 11 probably
ReplyDeleteCool, thanks!
ReplyDeleteany particular hashtag i should watch for on twitter?
BECK!!! HELL YES. And Modest Mouse is not garbage you fucking wank.
ReplyDeleterelevant twitter handles? and is the show 8pm eastern or pacific?
ReplyDeletehttp://www.heraldnet.com/article/20120202/BLOG5202/120209962/1019/ENT#Live-from-Sasquatch-launch
ReplyDeleteLive twitter feed of announcements, beginning 8pm.
Can't wait to see hear the lineup! Looking forward to some interesting comments! Was Feist a possibility?
ReplyDeleteAt launch parties past the lineup has been announced in one big chunk prior to the final band performing. That means it'll likely be unveiled around 10:30 or 11:00. It's not like you show up at 8 and they start revealing who is playing what stage and stuff like that. The host will rattle off some of the headliners before Junip plays and then there will be a short video with the full lineup announced. Look for it to appear on the Sasquatch! website after that.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have info on the Live Nation presale password?
ReplyDeletethe whole thing would be worth it if they got flight of the conchords.
ReplyDeleteI would cry.
Also..... Prepare to shoot this down but... Bjork has a beefy festival schedule in South America pre Sasquatch and some European festival dates post Sasquatch. Possible? She's been there before.
ReplyDelete@Nick Stip, the password is yourescrewedyoushouldhaveboughtearlyticketslastyear. I don't think it works though.
ReplyDeletehow quickly do four day passes typically sell out? a day? a week? two minutes?

ReplyDeleteYou took that previous fake lineup and switch some headliners. cool
ReplyDeleteSure hope Coeur de Pirate. Amazing french Canadian band. Gorgeous singer too.
ReplyDeleteamon tobin would be mind boggling, really hope he gets on the line up
ReplyDeleteHey! Say thank you..lol this man did us a great service and we owe him! I wish I could have done what he did. Or maybe we could just wait a few more hours and actually be thankful to some awesome tweeters.
ReplyDeletehaha shut up, i coulda made that list, if its true ill be very happy tho
ReplyDeleteThe above posted lineup may be somewhat correct but I know some bands that are playing that are not mentioned. Now everyone just relax we should have the lineup soon!
ReplyDeleteTenacious D leaked.... not sure on validity... came from source at the launch party.
ReplyDeletejust confirmed: Creed
ReplyDeleteLooks like it's Jack Black, not Jack White lol
ReplyDeleteI fuckin hope Creed is not on the bill. If that is a joke, it a very cruel one. Google worst bands of all time. In order, it goes Nickleback, then Creed.....
ReplyDeleteYou guys think Amy Winehouse will be there?
ReplyDeleteOnly in spirit will Amy be there.... or if you do enough Acid.
ReplyDeletethat's the order of my favorite bands. radiohead is at the end of my list.
ReplyDeletethat's a funny joke
ReplyDeletethanks bro.
